EQUIHUB: The Next Generation of Stable Management
BRUSSELS, BELGIUM - Noël Wuyts, CEO of Equihub, is no stranger to creating and building technology solutions. “My background is in IT working in both the finance and healthcare industries. Over time I realized, I had to start my own company to bring my ideas to life.” Driven by entrepreneurial ambitions, Noël transitioned to launching his own ventures including stable management digital pioneer, Hippovibe. “I eventually sold after I recognized the need for more innovation in the equestrian technology sector,” he shared.
Larger stables are rapidly professionalizing and adopting digital tools - Equihub is answering the need for a more robust management solution.
Horse Industry Connections
Noël got involved in the horse world through his family connections. “My three brothers-in-law are active across disciplines from dressage to showjumping and working for Zangersheide.” Observing traditional, analog practices like paper agendas and whiteboards in stables inspired the development of digital solutions such as Hippovibe, followed later by Equihub. His latest ventures are grouped under the parent company Mos Pelgo Ventures, which he co-founded with Thomas Cornet, the entrepreneur behind This Might Work, a studio that helps startups and established brands turn ideas into digital products and services.
Product Development Journey
After about half a year of research into industry needs, the first prototype emerged, evolving into a commercial product. Equihub launched in 2025, targets professional stables managing 10 or more horses.
Equihub centralizes horse information all in one place - reducing redundant tasks, error and poor team communication.
Solution Features
· All-in-one stable management — Centralizes horse, staff, operations, and admin workflows into a unified platform to eliminate fragmented tools
· Box tags & locations — Uses NFC‐enabled box tags and location tracking so that stable staff can instantly access horse info by scanning
· Health & logbook tracking — Maintains vaccination, treatment, and health logs over time to ensure preventative care and avoid surprises
· Breeding flows & embryo monitoring — Provides automated breeding workflows, embryo tracking, and lifecycle management tailored to equine reproduction
· Finance, sales and CRM tools — Lets you link expenses/income to horses, generate reports, and create public sales pages or profiles to streamline transactions
"We can't imagine running our stable without Equihub now," said Lars Kersten from Stal Kersten. "One tap on my phone shows me everything I need to know about any horse. We've eliminated endless searching for information and miscommunication, giving us more time to focus on what matters—our horses."
Equihub stands out through its cross-platform accessibility (web, iOS, Android), modern design, and user-friendly experience. The company also offers high-end hardware options, such as digital whiteboards, and prioritizes a comprehensive onboarding process rather than free trials, recognizing the importance of personalized support in client adoption.
AI Integration
“AI is redefining the capabilities of our solution, and we are using AI to enhance both internal operations and client-facing features,” Noël pointed out.
· Passport Scanning: Automatically pre-fill horse profiles by scanning official documents.
· Invoice Scanning: Allocate costs to horses by matching invoice data, crucial for professional and trading stables.
Subscription Model with Optional Onboarding
The software is offered as a yearly subscription. “While users can explore the platform independently through a free self-service trial, we recommend our guided onboarding with step-by-step instructions and how-to videos to ensure a smooth and effective start,” explained Noël.
Equihub plans to expand in Europe and the US through strategic advertising and participation in key events and horse shows.
Industry Trends and Future Outlook
The equine sector, especially among larger stables, is rapidly professionalizing and adopting digital tools. While smaller breeders are declining, big operations—often with hundreds of horses—are growing. There is increasing collaboration with federations, stud books, and other stakeholders, highlighting the need for integrated digital platforms to streamline administration and registration.
Marketing Approach and Brand Ambassadors
“We leverage word of mouth marketing and rely on partnerships and ambassador networks within the industry as the most effective way to market our solutions.” Noël finds that stable owners, managers, trainers and top riders act as key decision-makers and influencers, spreading adoption and trust organically.
Equihub exemplify the shift toward professionalization and technological advancement in the horse industry, combining practical features, modern design, and strategic growth to meet evolving market demands.
