HYLOFIT in Action: Confidence Building on a Whole New Level

The Tech Equestrian had the opportunity to experience Hylofit in action and celebrate its official launch at this month’s clinic at the beautiful Millstone Farm in Wilton, Connecticut. Titled ‘Reducing Stress and Building Confidence in your Horse’ the clinic was led by world-famous trainer Tristan Tucker known for his TRT method and legendary equestrian and Olympic gold medalist Rodrigo Pessoa in an information-packed morning complete with watching them interact with equines in training with Hylofit, a wearable heart rate monitor to track intensity.

CAVALL: Delivering a New Equine Buying & Selling Experience

Juliette Silvain, founder of CAVALL and full-time student at Georgetown University is on a quest to provide equestrians with a new way to buy and sell a horse using the power of digital. Born in Paris, France, Silvain was exposed to horses at a young age, including her grandfather who bred horses in Europe. At age 20 and already 16 years in the saddle, Silvain is studying Marketing and Management as a junior at Georgetown with a goal to combine her love of horses with business.

The years, months, weeks and hours planning and training for this event are immense, but what made it all worth it was that this event brought together some of the most talented and experienced equestrians and their equine athletes from around the world in a quest for the top of the podium and the admiration from their country’s fans. The Tech Equestrian had the opportunity and pleasure of experiencing this moment to cheer on the USA team and watch in amazement how each horse and rider team executed technical and some of the biggest jumps known to the sport at 1.65m in height.
